Originally created by Daniel Chester French in 1915 (who gained notoriety for creating the seated Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.), this bronze statue adorns Congress Park in Saratoga Springs, NY. This memorial to Spencer Trask, a Saratoga Springs philanthropist and patron of the arts, represents the spirit of the Saratoga waters.
The same uplifting quality and detail is recreated in Dennis deJonghe’s Spirit of Life 14k gold jewelry collection.
10% of sales are donated to the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation.
