[update; March 23, 2020]
Due to the mandate by Governor Cuomo regarding non-essential businesses, we will be closed temporarily. We will still be creating jewelry on our own terms in our own studios. I will also be in the store checking on things and processing orders. Please contact us with questions regarding your jewelry project, designing something new, picking something from our inventory, or just to say hi!
[update; March 16, 2020]
I am writing this letter on behalf of Dennis & Peg, myself, and the entire deJonghe Family. After a few long nights we have made the very difficult decision to temporarily close our retail showroom to the public through March 23rd. At that point I will reevaluate the situation and move forward accordingly. We will continue to keep our workshop operating and do what we do best – create jewelry.
The health of our family, staff, and community is most important to us. At this moment I believe temporarily closing is the most responsible action we can take.
Although our showroom will be closed, we will continue to be here for all of the special moments in your life. Our team will be in the shop working on custom jewelry projects and repairs. I will be available by phone, text, email, and FaceTime to discuss custom designs, jewelry available from our showcase, or repair work. For those who currently have jewelry projects with us – we are working on them and I will reach out to you when they’re finished to make arrangements for pick up or delivery.
We are fortunate to live in a community that is supportive of local businesses. Because of you, Saratoga Springs is a town that everyone knows and loves.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
“In the end, it will be impossible to know if we overreacted or did too much, but it will be quite apparent if we under reacted or did too little.”

To our customers and friends:
As we continue to navigate through dealing with the COVID-19 virus we would like to inform you of our plan moving forward. Our main goal is to keep our staff and patrons healthy. At this point we are continuing to stay open 10am-5pm Tuesday – Saturday and are implementing these strategies:
- We are diligently cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day. This includes surfaces, tools, jewelry cases, credit card readers, etc.
- At this time we are not offering ring and jewelry cleaning. *See our tip below for at-home cleaning.
- We are limiting how jewelry is handled when showing it. Only our staff is allowed to handle it unless it is being purchased.
Do you have a jewelry project with us but don’t want to make the trip out to pick it up?
For a limited time we are:
Offering free delivery within Saratoga Springs and free shipping! We can also arrange for you to pay online or over the phone (for a quick handover during pickup without the need to pass payment back and forth.)
We are HERE and ready to help. Please call or email us to discuss your next jewelry project. If you have anything in mind we are happy to send pictures via text or email! We can also arrange a “FaceTime” Appointment for virtual shopping. And don’t forget our website, Facebook, and Instagram where we will continue to feature jewelry.
Jewelry Cleaning Tip:
Rings can trap bacteria and other nasty stuff against your fingers. In general it’s best to remove them for cleaning regularly but especially when you are cooking or handling food. To clean we recommend letting them soak in warm water then use a soft toothbrush with a basic liquid dish soap and scrub gently. For diamond jewelry you can use ammonia and warm water for a deeper and more sanitizing clean. If you’re unsure if your gemstone can handle cleaning please call us and we can advise you further.
