FAQ & Warranty

Our Craftsmanship & Gemstone Promise

We're a small, designer-owned studio and we put a lot of heart into every piece we make. We also get to know our clients well — so if something doesn't seem right with your jewelry, please just reach out. We'll always do our best to make it right.

That said, jewelry is worn close to the body and goes through a lot of daily life with you, and it can be genuinely hard to tell if an issue is caused by a manufacturing defect or everyday wear. What we can promise is that we stand behind the quality of our work — but we can't take responsibility for how a piece is worn, stored, or cared for over time.

For the first year after purchase, we'll cover any structural repairs that we believe are related to how the jewelry was made. Things like loss, theft, or damage from wearing are outside of what we're able to cover, and we'd really encourage you to look into jewelry insurance through Jeweler's Mutual or as a rider on your homeowner's policy — it's worth it for jewelry you love.

On the gemstone side, we'll replace any small diamonds under 0.08ct (2.7mm or smaller) that wiggle free within the first year, free of charge. A note on colored stones: they're softer than diamonds and a little more vulnerable to the bumps of everyday life, so a little extra care goes a long way.

Every gem we use is natural and ethically sourced — no synthetics, no simulants, no man-made gems. We work with colored gemstones and diamonds that have minimal, industry-standard treatments only, and we'll always be upfront with you about what those are. We believe you should know exactly what you're buying.

Gemstones & Sourcing

Yes, and we prefer it that way. Here's why we source all our own gems rather than working with stones clients bring in from elsewhere:

  • Ethics & transparency — We're members of AGTA and AGS and have cultivated direct relationships with international gem brokers whose sourcing practices we know personally.
  • Quality assurance — We carefully evaluate every gem's characteristics, cut quality, and suitability for the specific design before acquiring it.
  • Budget-conscious selection — We'll search for the best options within your budget and walk you through the trade-offs so you can make a confident decision.
