Craftsmanship & Integrity

Our Philosophy

At deJonghe Original Jewelry, quality applies to both how we make jewelry and how we run our business. From the way we design and fabricate our jewelry to the materials we select and the way we communicate with clients, we take both our craft and our conduct seriously.

That means being straightforward about what goes into your jewelry: the metals we work with, and the gemstones we source.

Working in gold & platinum

We work exclusively in two precious metals: gold and platinum. These are materials with proven durability, lasting beauty, and real intrinsic value. These are the appropriate metals for fine jewelry and are well-suited to the quality of gemstones we source.

Who's Behind the Work

Three GIA Graduate Gemologists work in our studio. That credential represents rigorous training in gemstone identification, grading, and evaluation — and it means we can speak with authority about the quality and character of the stones we source and set.

deJonghe Original Jewelry is a proud member of the American Gem Society (AGS) and Jewelers of America (JA) — organizations that select members based on ethical business practices, professional standards, and a commitment to serving customers with integrity.

For over 45 years, we have been a proud part of the Saratoga Springs community. The enduring relationships we've forged here are the foundation of our success. The jewelry industry is inherently built on trust, and we are committed to upholding that same standard of trust and transparency in all our customer relationships.
